I have seen many examples of otherwise fit people that could not pass a BMI test. They were usually too short. Were their body fat measured accurately, I would think they would be well within the acceptable range of fat percentage. It is good to see some acknowledgment of the weakness of this method. It is certainly simple to calculate and very convenient, but highly inaccurate for a number of people for various reasons. I think because of my body type it is probably a good estimate, but there are many that this doesn't work for. Thoughts?
